1:30 - 3:30 p.m.: Bystander Intervention Training: Action and Allyship

If you are an undergraduate student who is interested in and committed to building an inclusive campus community but aren’t always sure how to intervene when you witness biased or oppressive behaviours, you’re not alone. Campuses are challenging and complex places complicated by diverse opinions, politics and power. As a bystander, you may want to act but are not sure how to do so effectively and safely. The goal of this workshop is to provide knowledge to understand bystander behaviour and encourage effective skills for intervening safely in situations including sexism, racism, transphobia and homophobia.

This initiative is supported by the Office of the President and the Women’s Campus Safety Grant.

Event is free. Registration is required.  Visit our Eventbrite page:
