The Equity, Inclusion and Anti-oppression program is excited to relaunch the Students, Staff and Scholars Stimulating Equity (S4E) and Gender-Based & Sexual Violence (GBSV) Prevention Campus Microgrants in partnership with the Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Office (SVPRO).
This renewed collaboration brings together our shared commitment to advancing Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (EDIA), fostering inclusive campus communities, an environment free from gender-based and sexual violence and supporting initiatives that create meaningful, lasting change at McMaster University.
The Students, Staff and Scholars Stimulating Equity (S4E) and Gender-Based & Sexual Violence (GBSV) Prevention Campus Microgrants provide funding for innovative projects, events, initiatives, and research that advance equity, promote consent, gender-based and sexual violence prevention, and belonging, across the McMaster community.
The program is designed to empower students, staff, and postdoctoral scholars to lead evidence-informed and community-engaged initiatives that promote consent, gender-based and sexual violence prevention, human rights, dignity, respect, safety, and inclusion. Through this partnership between the Equity and Inclusion and Anti-oppression program and the SVPRO, we aim to support collaborative approaches that address systemic barriers, foster safer campus environments, and create lasting institutional and community impact.
