Description:

We’re excited to celebrate Black History Month with the theme “Diasporic Dreams: Reclaiming Pasts, Shaping the Present, Crafting Futures.” This is an inspiring opportunity for McMaster Black identifying students and new grads to connect with community and employer partners who are dedicated to supporting Black students through mentorship and ambassador programs.

We invite you to join us in person panel presentation and networking event where you can learn about these mentorship opportunities and how they provide support with an intersectional approach. The event will feature honest conversations about the Black student journey, with McMaster alumni and peers sharing how their experiences have shaped their careers and futures.

This is a great opportunity to engage with our partners and discover how these programs can support your academic, career and further education goals.

Light refreshments will be served. Given the weather, we’re offering a hybrid format for the presenters due to travel. Stay tuned for more details on our speakers!
