The Hamilton Black History Council, in partnership with Black-led organizations, the City of Hamilton, and Hamilton Public Library, invites the community to Hamilton’s Annual Black History Month Launch. This year’s event takes place on January 30 from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hamilton Public Library Central Branch (55 York Blvd, 4th Floor). Embracing the theme “Honouring Our Past. Healing our Futures,” the launch will place a special focus on Black Health and Wellness.
The afternoon features the “We Are Hamilton – Black History Remembered” initiative, highlighted by the special unveiling of two new honourees. Join us to celebrate these significant contributions to our history and community.
