Join us for a McMaster student panel featuring Black-identifying Social Science undergraduate and postgraduate students. Panelists will share their experiences navigating university and leadership as Black students, discuss where they are now, and answer audience questions. Food and refreshments will be provided, along with opportunities for networking!

The presence of people of African descent in Hamilton predates its incorporation in 1846, yet the experiences, contributions, struggles, and imaginations often go unnoticed. As residents of Hamilton prepare to celebrate Black History Month, this 4 week virtual interactive public lecture will offer you an opportunity to delve into the specific experiences, contributions, struggles, and imaginations of Hamilton Black history, present, and future.
